Este artículo busca analizar el problema de la especificidad del conocimiento histórico a partir del análisis basado en el texto de Temps et Récit de Paul Ricoeur, vinculado a la corriente filosófica continental o europea y Analytical Philosophy of History de Arthur C. Danto relacionado con la filosofía analítica. Proponemos que, a partir de la noción de narración, se han ido abriendo espacios que permiten el diálogo entre ambas corrientes, en la medida que la narración ocupa un papel esencial en la naturaleza del conocimiento histórico, pues es a través de ella que la Historia se hace inteligible.
