El artículo estudia la revista juvenil Onda editada por Quimantú durante el periodo de la Unidad Popular, desde la noción de producto cultural en el marco de la propuesta de Raymond Williams. Se establece que Onda funcionó como un medio de disputa para promover un ideal de juventud comprometida con la patria “en vías al socialismo”, en un contexto de transformación sociocultural, dialogando con corrientes como el hippismo mediante su gráfica y la inclusión de grupos musicales. Además de educar en torno a la sexualidad o temas políticos del momento, sirvió de plataforma para plasmar visiones y discursos juveniles mediante un lenguaje accesible, divertido, irónico y educativo.
