Sumario:This study, based on the author's experience of organizational research done in three different large government agencies (namely the Administration of Disabled People under the Prime Ministry, the General Directorate for Social Services and Protection of the Child, and the General Directorate of Highways) in his country, examines some of the steps involved in implementing an organizational reform for the public personnel according to performance management in public administration in order to, as a consequence, ensure that performance management becomes more effective for the public personnel. In line with this concept there is the need to put forward more measurable targets in order to determine performance goals of human resources within the agency, which means increased success in work.
