| Sumario: | This Collaboration is a critical area of limited transition research, despite the mandates for collaboration among vocational rehabilitation (VR) and special educators (SPED) in serving transition-age individuals with disabilities and their families to prepare and plan for their postsecondary lives. In this investigation, the expectations of VR and SPED statewide transition supervisors regarding the collaboration activities of their staff were measured by: (a) importance, (b) frequency, and (c) preparedness. These transition supervisors consistently ranked activities as important, but reported that their staff were unprepared for and infrequently engaging in these collaborative activities. Recommendations are offered in areas identified as the greatest need.
