| Sumario: | The article reports on research which contrasted the effectiveness of teaching using a learning module approach with instruction that employs a traditional lecture-discussion approach in an undergraduate course entitled "Psychology of the Exceptional Child." Nine teaching modules were created which incorporated some of the principles in the textbook "Educating the Exceptional Child." Findings indicated that it is possible to do research within a traditional College of Education framework with learning modules. However, there is still no evidence that innovative learning modules are advantageous for students. |
