Sumario:The article analyzes the contexts of school-related discourse through space-time production theories. Study revealed that school-related discourse routinely produces space-time contexts that create difficult analytic challenges for researchers and teachers. The investigation has implications for methods and representation in literacy research. The research also depicts how novel methods of analysis might affect multi-disciplinary approaches. Some factors that would lead to other productions of space time are also explored.
