In order to achieve successful learning, there must be a mastery of tradition of the previous accumulation of knowledge and of experience in the ways of successfully pursuing knowledge. Should the academic system be differentiated around the function of learning, any social accountability must be secondary to the sense of responsibility for the promotion of the learning process.
