The author states that the theoretical issues raised by advertising about the nature of persuasion, faith and belief in discourse has been influenced by author James L. Kinneavy. He cites that Kinneavy argues in his book "Greek Rhetorical Origins of Christian Faith" that a part of the concept of faith in the New Testament can be found in the rhetorical concept of persuasion. |
