Sumario:The article discusses the demonstration of a synthetic strategy to create metal-organic frameworks (MOFs) for the generation of aromatic walls and rigid metal-organic pillars with the application of two different organic connectors. It says that dimethyformamide (DMF) solvents of the reaction which can be replaced for methanol were housed by square-shaped channels. Moreover, highly-stable MOFs were constructed with rigid metal-organic pillars associated by organic groups to create double walls.
