La pedagogía tradicional divide la mente y el cuerpo en una dicotomía que se refiere al cuerpo como poco más que un instrumento subordinado al servicio de la mente. La pedagogía encarnada une cuerpo y mente en un acto físico y mental de construcción del conocimiento. En este artículo ofrecemos una integración de la literatura existente que analiza aplicaciones aisladas de la pedagogía incorporada en un visión curricular holística. Empleamos una lente constructivista informada por la situación social perspectivas de la pedagogía crítica. Nuestra exploración revela características destacadas compartidas que tender puentes entre disciplinas dispares en la implementación de la pedagogía incorporada.
