| Sumario: | The article focuses on the objectives of the Norfolk/Chesapeake Teacher Corps Project, an undergraduate programs for interns preparing to teach in the elementary schools in the U.S. This program is aimed at assisting teachers and interns become responsive to the educational needs of exceptional children and on acquiring competencies in order to introduce individualized instruction in the regular classroom for handicapped children. Various abilities of the educators are assessed as the training program progresses. |
